About Dr. Snipes

Dr. Kristina Snipes is from Florence, South Carolina. She graduated from Clemson University and achieved her Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Snipes pursued a path in dentistry because it combines science and art. She particularly enjoys restorative dentistry to make smiles functional and beautiful to help her patients become healthier and more confident! Having a family history of oral cancer also gave her the desire to help others through dentistry.

She has completed continuing education in orthodontics/clear aligners, implant dentistry, surgical extractions, root canals, and cosmetic dentistry.

Her professional memberships include the Academy of General Dentistry, the South Carolina Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Charleston Collaborative Study Club.

Dr. Snipes volunteers with The Dental Lifeline Network to help those in need gain a confident and functioning smile. She loves teaching, learning, and sharing her passion for dentistry with her patients, co-workers, and friends!

Dr. Snipes and her husband David live in West Ashley with their daughters Kate and Olivia and their dogs' Sugar and Coco! The Snipes especially enjoy cooking and being outdoors with family and friends.
